Police identify 2 Ontario boys killed while crossing street

PARRY SOUND, Ont. - Police have identified two young boys struck and killed while crossing an intersection in Parry Sound, Ont.
Provincial police say Kaelen Smith, 7, and Ryder Smith, 1, were crossing at a crosswalk with their mother Friday morning when they were struck by a pickup truck.
All three were taken to hospital, where the boys were pronounced dead.
Police said Friday the mother suffered minor injuries.
They also said the female driver of the truck was treated for shock at the scene.
The investigation continues and police say they expect charges will be laid.
