The activity kicked off with a bake sale by the students to raise fund for their project, then a lecture to the students that was done by Mona Khouri Akl, President of YASA Lebanon. This was later followed by class work that was the decoration of their classroom Notice Board and Corridor. Each section took a case and elaborated on it. Then the YASA brought the Mini Cars for the Traffic safety Educational Garden to the school and the students drove around a circuit. After that the preparation started for the Mall Demonstrations under the theme: “This is What Happens if you do not…”. Preparation included safety messages, banners, song, crash injury case identification and identifying material needed. Then came the Mall Demonstration which was done over several weekends. It was a Marching Demonstration inside City Mall which is shopping mall. On the day of the demonstrations, the students were taken to a hospital emergency unit where they got their bandages and fake injury cases fixed then off to the Mall. At the mall the entire group walked around holding the banners, while they sang the song and distributed YASA flyers as well as some quotes done be Grade 6 Students.
