Traffic Crash Simulation in St. Anne School in Riyak-Bekaa
Organised by Saint Anne School in Riyak, YASA held a traffic crash simulation on Wednesday 26 May 2010 to empahsise and educate the students on how the rescue and first aid are conducted when a crash occurs.
It aimed at increasing the awareness of the students on road safety issues. The participating students and teachers attended a road safety lecture that was given by M.kamel Ibrahim during which the students got to watch a documentary from YASA's production about road safety
During the lecture all the participants received a variety of YASA publications on various topics of safety. The students were also given the chance to discuss their concerns and experiences on road safety and M.Ibrahim explained to the attendees the dangers of traffic crashes and what should be done the help prevent them. The simulation was done in collaboration with the Lebanese Red Cross and the Civil Defense where by each showed the attendees how they work after explaining and showing the equipment used and how they coordinate and facilitate the rescue and the first aid to help the casualty. All the participants received a variety of YASA publications such as flyers, and newsletters
